I didn't snap pix of the hotel we stayed at. Normally we stay at a cheaper hotel but this 4* hotel, luckily just happened to be cheaper than the 3* than the one we normally stay at AND breakfast was included in the price. That's the advantage to the app. You get to see the prices without having to do a lot of clicking and research - still - read the fine print to get the final price. AND I have not linked anything here to my account so no pressure from me and no junk from me either nor spam. So if you get something to the contrary, delete it.
So here is the link to the hotel and you can oo and ahh at the website.
After breakfast we when back to Jens' mom's apt for a last little chat before heading back to Wonderful Wonderful Copenhagen.
I did however manage to snap too many pix of the bridge. It's quite amazing really. It was a fun trip. I really enjoyed our city and village visits. Looking so much forward to going back again. And the best part of it is: All of it is in our neighborhood so if you should find yourself one day in Denmark, I would be happy to show you around - that goes for you Danes too who haven't seen your own beautiful country.
At the start of the bridge.
The beginning part of the bridge on this end is flat for a long time. And the train follows along side of the road (see the electric lines on the left).
Then we come to a natural island that has been extended to accommodate the train. The train goes under the water - the cars go over.
Now we are approaching the incline.
Right at the halfway point.
And now descending.
Looking off to the right to see the town of Korsør.
